Stories are hardwired into our DNA as humans and have been used for centuries to convey layers and layers of meaning. I don’t merely want to provide you with images of your bouquet or shoes or your exchanging of rings and cutting the cake.
I want to give you SO much more than that. My heart is to give you a monument that you can return to, to relive the experiences of that day and discover all the moments that happened in between. We’ll shoot at a location in and around Cape Town usually during *golden hour*, but we plan the shoot to whatever suits you best as a couple.

So you get unlimited planning sessions before your wedding to discuss your timeline, locations, desires and details. After which you will receive a custom timeline ready for your big day! (worth R2,500)
My Wedding Handbook — a PDF to guide you in planning your day for the best photos! It takes you through preparing yourself for marriage (most important!), how to choose a getting ready location, planning the perfect timeline, ceremony lighting, and it even includes a database with all my favourite vendors! (worth R800)
A private online gallery hosted for one year which functions as the most secure backup and best platform from which to share your photos with friends and family. (worth R250 p/y)

And just who am I?
Alecia Kotzé at your service! Coming at you with nearly 8 years of experience running after brides with a camera in my hand, holding veils & bouquets, and calling uncles for family photos.
I started out second shooting every weekend for some of our industry’s leading photographers which allowed me the opportunity to observe, hone my skills, learn, troubleshoot almost every possible thing that could go wrong, experience all kinds of personalities and styles and this has left me in the privileged position I’m in:
able to shoot in practically any situation
know a wedding like the back of my hand and then some
shoot very intuitively
BONUS: I got married during the heart of Covid - so I get it!
I’m convinced that marriage is God’s way of leading us from glory to glory, and that’s why I’m so fired up about being the one to document where it all started for you!

What if I’m very awkward in front of the camera?
You’re less awkward than you think! Trust me on this. If you’re a normal person you’ll feel a little bit strange being photographed by a stranger, but I will guide you in such a way that you eventually forget I’m there. The way that I guide couples on an engagement shoot and wedding is with the focus placed on each other - this is meant to be an enjoyable experience for both of you - I’m looking at you, my guy!
Here are some tips to get over ‘the awkward’ >
Yikes, I just don’t think I can spend that right now! Isn’t there a payment plan??
YES! There are a bunch of different options. After you’ve paid the 30% retainer, we can split your payments up into installments or you can pay month-to-month. Let me know what your situation looks like when enquiring and we can make a plan.
Do you have separate packages for elopements and smaller weddings?
I sure do! Elopement packages start at R8,000 and are only applicable for weddings with less than 30 guests (including the bridal couple). Please fill out an enquiry form and I’ll send over my Wedding Pricing Guide.
Can I swop out the engagement shoot for an additional hour or remove it from my package for a discount?
I can always create a custom quote to cater to what’s most important to you. Fill out an enquiry form or email me with your vision for your wedding day and what you need and I’ll customise something for you specifically!
